On 15 November, Giulia Galluccio, FERS Director, will present FERS at the LifeClimateAction’s Convention “Le ragioni del clima, dei giovani, dell’Europa” – Reasons of climate, of youth, of Europe” – in Rome.
Organised by the Association of Roman Press, the convention aims to evaluate European and local policies’ evolution since the first School Strike for Climate (Fruday for Future) in 2018, with youth at the centre stage of the discussions.
The conversation will include contributions from a diverse pool of climate and media experts, including Edoardo Zanchini (Director of the Climate Office at the Municipality of Rome), Giovanni Mori (former spokesperson of Fridays for Future) and Carlo Papa (Director of Enel Foundation).
Life ClimAction aims to raise awareness among citizens, administrations and businesses on the effects of climate change and to disseminate correct information on the possibilities and tools to counteract them, starting with the energy transition to reduce pollution and contribute to the country’s energy independence from fossil and polluting sources, such as coal, gas and oil.
